Twilight Jazz '17 Performance Schedule

Performances are free and open to the public.The grounds open at 6:00 pm and the performance begins at 7 p.m. The 2017 line up of performers will be as follows:
July 11th: Bill's Little Band. Performing in a new location: Old Settler's Park-Paddock Lake
July 18th: John Crawford Jazz Band (at Anderson)
July 25th: KUSD Jazz All-Stars (Anderson)
August 1st: Jazz Spectrum (Anderson)
August 29th: Russ Johnson / UW-Parkside Student Jazz Combo and Jack Plovanich and the Parkside Reunion Band.

Twilight Jazz is a free outdoor concert series sponsored by area businesses and located on the south end of Anderson Arts Center. Grounds open at 6:00 p.m. and handicapped parking is permitted on the grounds. There will be food vendors available as well as outdoor bathroom facilities. A 50/50 Raffle to support the Anderson Arts Center will be offered and the GIFT SHOP will be open offering special discounts. It is a family-friendly event held on Tuesday evenings during the summer. Come and pull up a blanket or lawn chair and enjoy.

Ballroom Dance Lessons and Special Event Dances

Introduction to Ballroom Dancing
Offering 7 Sessions in 2017 to choose from: Jan. 17-Feb. 14 / Feb. 28 March 28 / April 18-May 16 / May 30-June 27 / August 8- Sept. 5 / Sept. 12- Oct. 10 / Oct. 17 -Nov. 14. $55 per couple - Tuesdays from 7 to 8 p.m. at Simmons Gymnasium. Call 262-653-0481 To Register.

Ballroom Dances will be held periodically, featuring a live Big Band. A complimentary dessert buffet and cash bar will be available.Saturdays in Simmons Auditorium 7 to 10 p.m.

The Art of the Car Show

3rd Annual Car show will be Saturday, August 26, 2017 from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm at Anderson Arts Center. Free Admission. Car registration Fee: TBA

Lifetime Achievement Awards

Each year the Anderson Arts Center honors a Kenosha County resident who has contributed a lifetime of achievement to the arts through a body of work, teaching, mentoring, leadership, philanthropic activities, or promotion and or awareness of the fine arts in the community. The Reception includes an award and portrait unveiling, and presentation, followed by dessert and coffee. The ticket price is $25 per person and date of the event is scheduled to accommodate the Honoree.

Gallery of Trees - Christmas Gala-2017

Opening Night Gala - Saturday, November 25, 2017 at 6 pm at the Anderson Arts Center. Tickets $25.00 per person, can be purchased at the door. Fundraiser includes Silent Auction, Raffle Tickets, Food & Beverages.

Gallery of Trees - November 26 - December 3, 2017; Hours: Weekends 1 to 5 and Weekdays 1 to 7. Free Admission. Gallery is filled with professionally decorated trees that will be auctioned or raffled off. It is a great family friendly tradition to kick off the holiday season.

Third Annual Snowflake Jazz Concert at Simmons Auditorium at Kemper Center, 6501 - 3rd Avenue, to begin at 6:00 pm on December 2, 2017 featuring the John Crawford Jazz band.

Christmas Ballroom Dance at Simmons Auditorium at Kemper Center, 6501 - 3rd Avenue,7:30-10:00 pm on December 9, 2017 featuring Big Band music by the Pat Crawford Orchestra. Tickets are $15 each. Proceeds will support Kemper Center's dance programming. Complimentary buffet with cash bar here for dance poster.
