About Us

This unique complex is situated on the grounds of a 17.5 acre Kenosha County Park, overlooking Lake Michigan and featuring a conference center, historic chapel, Civil War-era mansion, observatory, arboretum, and fine art gallery.

Kemper Center Mission

To preserve the historic nature of the site and buildings and offer programs that promote an understanding of local history and all arts, while providing an historic setting for cultural, recreational, and educational activities.

Anderson Arts Center Mission

To increase awareness of the arts and contribute to arts education in the community by hosting performances, exhibitions, workshops, lectures, and special events while supporting and encouraging the activities of other arts organizations within the community.
